My experience:
I am only registered for a verification audit - this means that I’m not allowed to provide high-risk therapy including home modifications, early childhood intervention or restrictive practices or behaviour support plans. I have a completed the online training (see below) and I have both a Human Resources Manual and a Policies and Procedures manual. I also have attempted to have a service agreement with parents - but often they seem reluctant - I’m not sure if they are just overwhelmed with paperwork. In the next few months I will attempt to have service agreements with everyone in preparation for an expected audit by the end of next year.
